Nancy Northup currently serves as President and CEO of the Center for Reproductive Rights, a position held since January 2003. Prior to this role, Nancy Northup directed the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law from October 1996 to December 2002. Additionally, Nancy Northup worked at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York from 1989 to 1996, serving as Assistant U.S. Attorney and Deputy Chief of Appeals. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School (1985-1988) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Brown University (1977-1981), along with attendance at Allendale Columbia School from 1974 to 1977.
