Gerard Kay is an experienced leader in public safety and emergency management, currently serving as Team Lead at the Center for Public Safety Excellence since June 2011, where responsibilities include organizing peer assessments and mentoring agencies through the accreditation process. Gerard Kay also holds the position of Asset Manager with the Regina Police Service and serves on the Haven of Hope Ministries Community Council. Previous roles with the City of Regina from 2009 to 2015 encompassed various deputy chief positions, overseeing fire operations, public safety, and emergency management initiatives. Gerard Kay's academic credentials include a Certificate of Completion in Executive Education and Leadership from Harvard Kennedy School, an MBA from the University of Regina, and a B.A. in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University.
