Moriah Amit currently serves as the Genealogy Institute Manager and Senior Reference Services Librarian at the Center for Jewish History, overseeing the Ackman and Ziff Genealogy Institute and managing a team of nine volunteers. Moriah Amit has extensive experience providing research guidance to patrons, conducting reference interviews, and offering instruction in genealogical research and resource utilization. Prior roles include Technical Services Assistant at the Leo Baeck Institute, where bibliographic records were created and edited, and a Library Intern at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Moriah Amit holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute, a Master of Arts in Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology from The University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology from The George Washington University.
