Dan Herrick is an experienced IT asset and configuration management professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Service Asset and Configuration Management Manager at the Center for Internet Security since July 2023, Dan is responsible for maintaining the Configuration Management Database and overseeing IT service and asset management, ensuring adherence to governance and compliance standards. Previously, Dan held key roles at Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Colorado Boulder, where Dan established critical practices in IT asset and service configuration management. With strong leadership skills demonstrated as Assistant Director for IT Asset Management, as well as experience in client services and technology support from positions at Colorado State University and managing a technology service business, Dan combines technical expertise with strategic management capabilities. Dan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Technical Communication and an Associate of Science in Computer Science.
