Charlie Pontiakos, CISSP, is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in threat analysis and hunting. Currently serving as a Senior Cyber Threat Hunter at the Center for Internet Security since June 2022, Charlie has previously held roles as a Senior Cyber Threat Analyst at Jacobs and a Cyber Threat Analyst at ABS Group. Initial cybersecurity experience was gained as an Intelligence Analyst at Insight Global and a Signals Intelligence Analyst/Korean Linguist in the United States Marine Corps. Charlie's educational background includes a Master's degree in Information Technology from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Security and Risk Analysis with a focus on Information and Cyber Security from Penn State University, supplemented by studies in Korean at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center.
