Daniel Barcay is an experienced technology executive currently serving as the Executive Director at the Center for Humane Technology since March 2024. Previously, Daniel held positions as a Studio Research Fellow at Antikythera and multiple roles at Planet, including Vice President Strategy and VP of Platform Product. Daniel's career also includes significant experience at Thiel Macro as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, as well as a tenure at Google as a Senior Software Engineer. Early in Daniel's career, an internship at Los Alamos National Laboratory focused on multi-layered thin-film deposition. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Pomona College, earned in 2006.
