Rita Chuk-Petroskas is an experienced textile designer currently serving as a Scheduler at the Center for Energy and Environment since October 2018. Prior to this role, Rita operated as a Contract/Consultant Textile Designer from January 2012 to October 2021, collaborating with local and international clients to create custom prints and patterns. Rita's extensive background includes positions such as Senior Textile Designer at Christopher & Banks, where original prints and market trend research were conducted for women's knits, and Designer for children's sleepwear at Yu's Coop. Additional experience encompasses freelance design work and roles in informational design, including contributions to the Marine Fabricators Association and the Industrial Fabrics Association International. Rita holds a BA in Apparel Design from the University of Minnesota and a Badge of Completion in Print and Pattern from Pattern Observer.
