Alex Gibson is a Learning Experience Designer at CAST (Center for Applied Special Technology) since January 2023, focusing on the development of universally designed learning environments and conducting user-centered research. Prior experience includes a role as a UX Designer at Kaleido Design, where Alex led UX initiatives for various EdTech projects, including a K-12 digital feedback platform, an online marketplace, and a user-created learning video platform. Alex's teaching experience spans from humanities and design instruction at Lake Washington School District to a Fulbright teaching role in Malaysia, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing educational outcomes through innovative pedagogy. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education from Wake Forest University and two master's degrees in Learning and Technology, and Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University.
