Kat So serves as the Campaign Manager for the Energy and Environment Campaign team at the Center for American Progress since July 2019, focusing on issues such as fossil fuel accountability and ocean conservation policy. Previous roles at the Center include Research Associate and Research Assistant, where responsibilities included leadership in the CAP Union sub-unit and co-chairing the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Work Group for the National Ocean Protection Coalition. In addition, Kat holds the position of Project Coordinator at the Ocean Justice Forum and has gained experience through internships at Mass Audubon and the US Environmental Protection Agency, as well as a co-op at The Nature Conservancy. Kat So earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Northeastern University and is affiliated with the Sea Education Association.
