Jill Rosenthal has extensive experience in public health policy and program management. Jill is currently the Director of Public Health Policy at the Center for American Progress since June 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at the National Academy for State Health Policy, including Senior Program Director from January 2013 to June 2021, Program Director from January 2006 to January 2013, and Program Manager from January 2000 to January 2006. Before joining the National Academy for State Health Policy, they worked as a Program Manager at the WV Center for Rural Health Development from December 1995 to November 1999, and as a Field Director at the WV Bureau for Public Health from June 1992 to December 1995.
Jill Rosenthal's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Colgate University, which they obtained between 1984 and 1988. Jill then pursued further education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they earned a Master of Public Health degree in Health Behavior/Health Education from 1990 to 1992.
