Matthew Cheung is a seasoned educator and coach with extensive experience in mathematics education and sports. Currently serving as a Math Learning Strategist, Professor, and Women's Head Volleyball Coach at Centennial College since June 2014, Matthew also holds roles as Girls Head Coach at Leaside Volleyball Club and Researcher at the Lassonde School of Engineering. As a Mathematics Education Researcher at York University, Matthew focuses on developing multiplication strategies, while teaching online mathematics at Yorkville University and coaching at Connex Volleyball Club since April 2000. Previous appointments include positions at Humber College and Georgian College. Matthew Cheung holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics Education, a Graduate Diploma in Mathematics Education, and a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Mathematics, all from York University.
