Wanda Proteau is an experienced professional in operations management and communication access services. At Centene Corporation since December 2017, Wanda has held multiple roles, including Operations Manager, Supervisor of Program Coordination, and LTSS Program Coordinator. Prior to this, Wanda operated as an independent contractor from August 2009 to December 2017, providing realtime captioning and communication access to various clients, including universities and colleges across the United States, with expertise in fields such as immunology and computer science. Additionally, Wanda served as an In-Stadium Captioner for the Pittsburgh Penguins from August 2010 to April 2016, notably covering the 2016 Stanley Cup playoff series. Wanda holds a Master’s degree in Journalism - Public Relations from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Broadcasting from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, along with a Certificate of Court Reporting from the Community College of Allegheny County.
