Amy P. Trahan, LCSW, is an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a diverse background in behavioral health. Currently serving as a Utilization Manager and former Behavioral Case Manager at Louisiana Healthcare Connections since November 2015, Amy has a strong foundation in individual and family therapy, particularly for military personnel and their families, evidenced by experience as a Military & Family Life Counselor at Magellan Health and as a therapist in private practice near Fort Hood, TX. Amy has designed and implemented treatment programs for mental health and substance abuse at multiple facilities, including UBH Denton and Carrollton Springs Hospital, and has provided services across various settings, including inpatient psychiatric care and outpatient treatment. Amy holds a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of North Texas.
