Jalal Abdul-Hadi, Ph.D., is a professional with extensive experience in technology and research. Currently serving as a Full-stack JAVA Development Trainee at Wiley Edge since March 2023, Jalal has been the CEO and Founder of Labionyx since May 2020 and an Entrepreneur in Acceleration at Centech Mtl since January 2021. Previous roles include Research Assistant at both the Institut national de la recherche scientifique and Concordia University from September 2014 to February 2019, where significant contributions were made to the development of fluorescence spectroscopy biosensing setups and integrated optical biosensors. Jalal was also co-director at Wicleys Group Inc from September 2015 to September 2017. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics and a Master’s degree in Experimental Optics from the Institut national de la recherche scientifique, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Université de Sherbrooke and further studies in Mobile Application Development at College Ahuntsic.
