Rolly Wasonga has extensive work experience in the field of resource geology. Rolly'smost recent role was as the Chief Resources Geologist at Centamin PLC, where they were responsible for the delivery of Mineral Resource and statutory reporting. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Resource Geologist and Technical Lead at Barrick Gold Corporation from 2018 to 2021. From 2012 to 2018, Rolly worked at Randgold Resources Ltd, where they held various roles including Senior Resource Geologist, Resource Geologist, Mine Geologist, Grade Control Geologist, and Exploration Geologist. During their time at Randgold Resources, they were involved in various activities such as resource modeling and estimation, QAQC implementation, grade control management, and mentoring/training.
