Benjamin Fenigsohn has a long and varied work experience. Benjamin began their career in 2011 as the Director of Papermache, Inc., a platform for storing and sharing undergraduate research. In 2012, they joined Worldwide Aeros Corp. as a Business Development Associate, strategizing market applications for the Aeroscraft 66T variably buoyant cargo airship. In 2013, they moved to Hollywood Electrics as Business Development, devising growth strategies for the world's first and only exclusively electric motorcycle dealership. In 2014, they founded Elmhurst, Inc., a 501(c)3 philanthropic brokerage that provided financial products and professional services exclusively to nonprofits and their affiliates. In 2017, they became the Director of Red Rover Ventures, LLC, an offshoot of Elmhurst designed to focus exclusively on early-stage commercialization. In 2020, they joined Advanced Aircraft Company as Vice President of Business Development, standing up commercial outreach by owning customer discovery, dealflow pipeline, and market validation. Benjamin also worked briefly as a Project Manager for Giveth, helping devs build contracts on Solidity. Currently, they are a Client Solutions Engineer at Censys Technologies Corporation, listening to and learning from each and every customer, new and existing, and identifying productivity problems and discovering sUAS solutions primarily in surveying and mapping, infrastructure inspection, and AEC industries.
Benjamin Fenigsohn has a diverse educational background. Benjamin graduated from Poquoson High School in 2005 and went on to attend James Madison University, where they studied International Affairs, Technical and Scientific Communication, and Economics. In 2011, they began studying Entrepreneurship at California State University, Los Angeles, and in 2015 they attended Dev Bootcamp. Benjamin is currently enrolled at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA.
