Leonardo Carvalho is an experienced physiotherapist currently serving as the Physiotherapist for the Women's team at Celtic Football Club since April 2023. Prior to this role, Carvalho worked as an MSK Physiotherapist at NHS Scotland from November 2022 to April 2023. Previously, Carvalho was a Lecturer in various disciplines related to physiotherapy and physical education at Ajes Faculdades do Vale do Juruena and ASSER University. Also, Carvalho held the position of Head Physiotherapist for the medical department at Rio Claro Futebol Clube from 2013 to 2017, including oversight of youth teams, and was involved in physiotherapy practice at Vita2 Clinic, focusing on sports and trauma-orthopedics. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Human Development and Technologies from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from the same institution.
