Javier Barja is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Group Management Control Director at Cellnex Telecom since September 2024, Javier previously held key positions at ESTEVE, including Global Finance Director and Global Administration Director, from April 2020 to September 2024. Prior to that, Javier was the Chief Financial & IT Officer at Medichem, S.A., overseeing corporate financial management and operations across global affiliates. With a strong background in financial control, compliance, and operational performance, Javier also contributed to cost management and ERP implementations at Roca Sanitario, S.A. Educational credentials include a Lic&MBA in Economics from Esade and an MBA in Economics from McGill University.
