Mark Gebhard is an experienced professional in the biopharma and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as Production Manager at Cellecta, Inc. since September 2017. Prior to this role, Mark was the Lead Scientist at Pharmozyme Incorporated, where the focus was on developing contamination-free enzyme products for research and diagnostics. Mark also had a brief tenure as a Scientist Consultant at Theravance Biopharma, Inc., working on peptide and protein production and optimizing synthesis for therapeutic applications. Earlier, Mark was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin, establishing lab-scale antibody production and serving as an antibody expert liaison. Mark Gebhard holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as both BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University.
