Dr. Jason Sharp has spent more than fifteen years in biological sciences as a bench scientist. Currently, he is developing embryonic cell-based therapies for spinal cord injuries and various neural diseases.

He is an expert in human embryonic stem cell culture and developed the program of mass production of human embryonic stem cells for therapeutic use. Dr. Sharp’s expertise is in the development of cGMP cell culture (e.g., manage IQ/OQ/PQs), intellectual property management (e.g., compile patents for submission to USPTO), oversight of pre-clinical/non-clinical studies (e.g., qualify CROs for toxicology studies), regulatory compliance management (e.g., manage pre-IND discussions), clinical development (e.g. develop inclusion/exclusion criteria for patients), business development (e.g., valuation of an in-license candidate).
