Michael Murphy has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and research fields. Michael began their career at the University of Connecticut in 2006, where they served as a Ph.D. student and Graduate Research Assistant until 2012. During this time, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant in Genetics.
Following their time at the University of Connecticut, Michael joined the University of Connecticut Health Center as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Immunology from 2013 to 2017.
In 2017, Michael joined Celldex Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist I, where they conducted research until 2020. Michael then advanced to the role of Senior Scientist II until mid-2021. Currently, Michael holds the position of Associate Director of Research at Celldex Therapeutics.
