José MarÃa Campos DomÃnguez has a diverse range of work experiences in various industries. José MarÃa started their career at Audi AG, where they were the After Sales Manager for South America and Spain. José MarÃa then worked at HERCAM as a consultant before joining Metropolitando de Tenerife as a Project Manager for the design and implementation of a new tram system. José then moved on to Engicon, where they served as the CTO and COO, overseeing the operations and technical departments. In 2007, they joined TECNALIA as the Head of Energy in Buildings and Urban Areas, where they launched a new department and coordinated a research group. José later joined the MIT Sloan Fellows Program in Innovation and Global Leadership to pursue an MBA. José MarÃa returned to TECNALIA as the Strategic Initiatives director, overseeing Smart Cities and Energy in the Built Environment. José MarÃa also served as the Smart Buildings and Cities Director, managing a team of researchers and establishing collaborations with other organizations. José is currently the CEO of Celering.
José MarÃa Campos DomÃnguez has a diverse education history. José MarÃa began their educational journey by earning a MSEng. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Navarra, which they completed between 1986 and 1994. Later, in 2004 and 2005, José pursued an Executive MBA in Business Management at the IE Business School. Furthermore, in 2006 and 2007, they obtained a certification as an Energy Systems Inspector from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas. José continued their educational pursuits by completing an Executive Development Program (EDP) at The Wharton School in 2009. Finally, in 2013 and 2014, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Innovation and Global Leadership. Additionally, in 2008 and 2009, they also accomplished a PSFECR certification in Finance and Capital Risk from IE Business School.
