Bernardo Sousa Ribeiro, Ph.D., is an experienced R&D Coordinator at CEIIA - Center for Innovation and Creative Engineering, specializing in the management of research and innovation projects related to electric and smart mobility. With a diverse background, Bernardo has served as Mobility Cluster Manager, overseeing initiatives aimed at competitive intelligence and internationalization of electric mobility solutions. Additional roles include Business Mentor at Blue Bio Value, contributing to bioeconomy startups, and Industry Advisory Board member for the EVolution FP7 project, focused on advanced materials for hybrid and electric vehicles. Bernardo's early career includes project management and engineering positions at the Universidade do Minho, Lusalite de Moçambique, and several other organizations, supported by a PhD in internal combustion engines and training in Design Thinking for Business Innovation.
