Emirhan Karagül serves as the Head of AI at CEIBA HEALTH since October 2024, following a tenure as Senior AI Platform Engineer at Merantix Momentum from May 2021 to September 2024. During the latter role, Emirhan also held the position of Software Engineer, focusing on developing MLOps infrastructure and productionizing machine learning models. Emirhan contributed as a Guest Researcher at Charité, where a master's thesis on automated image type derivation for medical imaging was completed. Previous experience includes working as a Working Student Researcher at DAI-Labor, focusing on Explainable AI in diagnostic pathology, and as a Software Engineer at CEIBA HEALTH for the development of eClinics. Initial professional experience was gained as a Software Engineering Intern at Yapı Kredi Teknoloji, working on web services and performance monitoring projects. Emirhan holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Technische Universität Berlin and a degree from Boğaziçi University.
