Kersti Ekeland Bjurstrøm has extensive work experience in various roles within the energy and technology industry. Kersti Ekeland currently serves as the Chief Product Officer at Cegal, a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to this, they held the same role at WindSim AS from January to May 2022.

From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Schlumberger, where they held the positions of Portfolio Manager, Flow Assurance, and OLGA Product Champion. Before this, from 2016 to 2017, they served as the Flow Assurance Project Office Manager at Schlumberger Norway Technology Center.

Before joining Schlumberger, Kersti worked at SPT Technology Center - Schlumberger AS from 2013 to 2015, where they were the InTouch & Sustaining Manager. Kersti Ekeland also worked at SPT Group from 2008 to 2013, where they held the role of Manager, Maintenance & Support.

Kersti Ekeland'searlier work experience includes positions at Scandpower Petroleum Technology / Scandpower AS as a Project Manager / Principal Consultant from 2005 to 2008, and at Scandpower Petroleum Technology AS / Scandpower AS as a Consultant from 1997 to 2004.

Kersti Ekeland Bjurstrøm received a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Numerical Computations from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1992 to 1997.
