Marcelo Vollmann is a seasoned professional in public affairs with significant experience in the chemical and automotive sectors. Currently serving as the Public Affairs Manager for Cefic (European Chemical Industry Council) since May 2016, Vollmann focuses on issues related to Petrochemicals Europe. Previously, from September 2007 to April 2016, Vollmann worked at Renault in public affairs, addressing CO2 emissions, connected vehicles, transport policy, and electric vehicles. An early career stint included an internship in the DG Budget of the European Commission in 2003. Vollmann holds a Doctorate in Political Sciences (PhD) from the University of Tübingen, a Master's degree in European Studies from the College of Europe, and a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from Sciences Po.
