Clinical Research Coordinator Lead at Cedars-Sinai

Brian Minton has a diverse range of work experience in the field of clinical research coordination. Brian started their career in 2007 as a Research Assistant at UC Irvine, where they worked until 2008. Brian then joined UC Irvine School of Medicine in 2008 and held the position of Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator until 2011. During this time, they assisted with coordination of clinical trials and basic research studies for acute stroke patients. From 2011 to 2017, Brian advanced to the role of Clinical Research Coordinator at UC Irvine School of Medicine. In this position, they coordinated Phase II and Phase III clinical trials for patients with various neuromuscular conditions. Brian then advanced to the role of Clinical Research Coordinator III, where they served as the lead coordinator on the gastrointestinal oncology team. In this role, they coordinated multiple Phase I, II, and III studies, both industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated. Brian also served on committees focusing on training and education, standard operating procedures, and transition to electronic research records. Currently, Brian holds the position of Clinical Research Coordinator Lead at Cedars-Sinai.

Brian Minton's education history begins in 2002 when they attended UC Irvine. Brian pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology and Social Behavior, completing both degrees in 2007.
