Shon McCollum, MBA, CPA, CGMA, serves as the Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for the Cecil County Government since August 2022, overseeing financial analysis, budget preparations, and compliance with regulations. Prior to this role, McCollum was the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Flywheel Digital, where responsibilities included building an FP&A team and managing monthly forecasts and integration of acquisitions. A lengthy tenure at Prometric saw McCollum function as the Director of FP&A, leading global planning processes, budget presentations, and managing integrations of M&A deals. McCollum's earlier career included managerial finance roles at GE Healthcare, Datex-Ohmeda, and other organizations, alongside foundational experience in academia working for the University of Baltimore. McCollum holds a BA in International Business from Washington State University and an MBA in Finance/International Business from the University of Baltimore.
