Michael Williams is an experienced professional in the fields of biology and environmental consulting, currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. since June 2023. Prior roles include Natural Resource Team Lead and Senior Associate at Stantec from December 2020 to July 2023, and Senior Biologist at the same company from March 2017 to December 2020. Earlier in their career, Michael worked as a Senior Biologist and Mitigation Specialist at Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon, Inc. from January 2014 to March 2017, and as a Transportation Specialist and Biologist 4 for the Tennessee Department of Transportation from January 2001 to January 2014. Additionally, experience includes serving as a Biologist 2 at the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation - Natural Heritage from February 1999 to December 2000. Michael holds a Master's degree in Biology/Game Management and a Bachelor's degree in Wildlife, Fish and Wildlands Science and Management, both from Tennessee Technological University.
