Chelsea Kay has a diverse range of work experience. Chelsea worked as a Content Development Manager and Content Attorney at CEB - Continuing Education of the Bar from 2022 to present. Prior to that, they founded and worked as an International Law Consultant + Editor at Scribe & Revise from 2016 to 2022. Chelsea also served as an Adjunct Professor in Comparative Constitutional Law at Heidelberg University in 2018. Chelsea has experience as an International Humanitarian Law Program Advisor at the American Red Cross from 2014 to 2016, and as an Adjunct Faculty LSAT Instructor at American University from 2015 to 2016. Chelsea also worked as a Law Clerk at Mooney, Green, Saindon, Murphy & Welch, PC in 2013. Chelsea gained experience as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Robert L. Wilkins at the United States District Court, District of Columbia from May 2013 to August 2013, and as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Joseph E. Beshouri at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia from January 2013 to April 2013. Chelsea also worked as a Summer Associate at ELiG Attorneys-at-Law in 2012, and as an Assistant Business Administrator at The Graham School from July 2008 to July 2009.

Chelsea Kay completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and International Relations at Heidelberg University from 2004 to 2008. Chelsea then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Relations at the University of Denver between 2009 and 2011. Following that, they attended American University Washington College of Law from 2011 to 2014, where they earned their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
