Awali Nahhas is a seasoned water engineer with significant experience in both project management and technical support within the field of water resource engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Water Engineer at CDM Smith since July 2022, Awali Nahhas provides procurement and technical support for the Amman Aqaba Water Desalination and Conveyance Project funded by USAID. Previously, from January 2018 to January 2023, Awali Nahhas held the position of Principal Water Engineer at Engicon, contributing to a project focused on reducing non-revenue water and enhancing municipal water services in Amman with USAID funding. Additionally, Awali Nahhas served as the Head of the Department of Dams Design and Flood Protection at Consolidate Consultant-CC from January 2009 to December 2017. Awali Nahhas holds a B.Sc. in Water and Environment Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, completed in 2007, along with further education through YPMTP.
