Valerie Mize

Valerie Mize is an experienced epidemiologist currently working at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the Global Surveillance, Laboratory, and Data Systems Branch. Previously, Mize served as an epidemiologist with the World Health Organization, where contributions included providing technical advice on COVID-19 surveillance, monitoring epidemiological trends, and establishing health information systems. Additional roles included positions with Médecins Sans Frontières, the Pan American Health Organization, and Medical Care Development International, emphasizing project support, operational research, and data management in public health.
