Stephanie Michel is a Senior Public Health Advisor at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, specializing in public health regulation at US ports of entry since October 2018. Michel has extensive experience in emergency public health responses, including the 2022 Ebola and Mpox outbreaks, as well as various roles during the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting quarantine stations in multiple locations. Previous experience includes public health education at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and administrative roles at Habitat for Humanity of Berks. Michel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Albright College and is pursuing a Master's in Public Health and Health Informatics at Temple University. Additionally, Michel completed the CDC High Potential Certificate Program in Leadership.
