Shruti Bahukudumbi is a Staff Epidemiologist at the City of Worcester since July 2023 and has been a Graduate Research Assistant at Tufts University School of Medicine since September 2021, focusing on systematic reviews and patient-centered interventions for tuberculosis patients. Previous experience includes a Project Intern role at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where spatial gaps in clinical access for individuals with psychosis were identified. As a Research Intern at YR Gaitonde Centre for AIDS Research and Education, Shruti conducted studies on HIV adherence and analyzed helpline data during the pandemic. Additional internships were completed at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences and a Stem Cell Technology laboratory. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Tufts University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Technology in Industrial Biotechnology from Anna University.
