Joshua Murphy, MPH, serves as a Senior Clinical Advisor for Quality Improvement at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since July 2021. Previously, Joshua held the position of Strategic Information Programme Manager at The Aurum Institute, focusing on health information analytics across South Africa. With extensive experience as a researcher at the Health Economics and Epidemiology Research Office, Joshua contributed to significant research on HIV treatment and community health worker programs. Joshua has also been recognized with the Discovery Health’s Clinical Excellence Award for a research poster and has held various leadership roles in health initiatives, including project coordination and management at organizations such as Anova Health Institute and Family Health International. Joshua holds a Master of Public Health from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Tufts University.
