Joanne Mei is a Team Lead for the Newborn Screening Quality Assurance Program at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. With a strong academic background, Joanne earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Entomology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where studies were pursued from 1985 to 1991. Prior experience includes a tenure at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1984 to 1992.
