Janna Sayer is an experienced public health analyst currently serving as the Team Lead in the Policy Office at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases since June 2015. Previous roles at the CDC include serving as a Regulations Analyst in both the Office of the Chief of Staff and the Office of Policy, Performance and Evaluation, as well as an Issues Manager in the Division of Issues Management, Analysis, and Coordination. Janna's career began at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as a Program Analyst in the Office of Inspector General, and prior to that, Janna worked as a Medicaid Analyst at the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts and as a Medicaid Policy Researcher at the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute. Janna holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from Georgia State School of Public Health and a BA in English Literature and Pre-med from Randolph College.
