Joseph Lewis, MPSA, MBA, currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer and Director of the Cybersecurity Program Office at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since January 2023. Previous roles include Adjunct Cybersecurity Professor at New York University, Director of Cyber Assessment Strategy at the U.S. Department of Energy, and various leadership positions within the U.S. Army Installation Management Command. Joseph also has experience as an adjunct instructor at Northeast Lakeview College and a production manager at Cintas. Joseph's military background includes service as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Joseph is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Cybersecurity Leadership at Capitol Technology University and holds multiple degrees, including an Executive Master in Public Service and Administration from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
