Dewayne Baxley is an experienced IT security professional with a strong focus on compliance, risk assessment, and security governance. Currently serving as a Senior IT Security Analyst at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since November 2013, Dewayne is the subject matter expert (SME) for NIST 800-53 Revision 4 Common Security Controls. Prior roles include positions at Recall Corporation, CGI, Northrop Grumman Corporation, and Lockheed Martin Information Technology, where responsibilities ranged from aligning corporate compliance and risk audits to supporting the Certification & Accreditation process. Dewayne holds a Master's degree in Advanced Information Assurance and Security from Villanova University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Troy University.
