Amanda Honeycutt is a Senior Economist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Amanda served as Director of Health Economics at RTI International from July 1998 to October 2023. Amanda's academic experience includes a tenure as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Fairfield University from September 1997 to June 1998. Amanda earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from the University of Maryland, where studies were completed from 1992 to 1997, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, obtained between 1987 and 1991.
