Karen Kaemmerling currently serves as the Instructional Chair for Online Learning at Colorado Mountain College, a position held since February 2013. In this role, Karen is responsible for expanding online course offerings, ensuring high-quality instruction, and facilitating communication to achieve institutional goals. Karen also has extensive experience with CCCOnline, having held several positions since January 2003, including History Instructor, Social Science Associate Dean, Social Sciences Program Chair, and Director of Training and Professional Development. Notable achievements include winning the 2008 Blackboard Exemplary Course Award and being recognized as Academic Leader of the Year in both 2006 and 2010. Karen's educational background consists of a Master of Arts in History and a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University.
