Michael Bonello has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Michael began working at GO plc as a Junior Software Developer from August 2001 to June 2004. Michael then moved on to Baxter International Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2004 to July 2005. Next, they joined SunGard (now part of FIS) as a Software Development Consultant from August 2005 to April 2006.
After that, Michael joined CCBill, where they held multiple positions. Michael started as a Software Development Team Lead from April 2006 to March 2011. Michael then became a Technical Project Manager from March 2011 to June 2016, followed by Head of Project Management (EMEA) from June 2016 to April 2017. Michael was later promoted to the role of Global Director of Software Development from April 2017 to September 2021, where they managed projects on a global scale. Michael also served as the Vice President of Software Development during this time.
Currently, Michael Bonello works for PhoenixNAP as Vice President of Software Development, a position they started in September 2021.
Michael Bonello attended De La Salle College in Malta from 1989 to 1999, where they received a primary and secondary school education. Michael then went on to London Metropolitan University from 2001 to 2005, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computing and Information Systems. Later, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Science in Business Information Systems Management at Middlesex University. Bonello's field of study throughout their education has primarily been in the field of IT.
