Carlos E. Castañeda is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in editorial and digital production. Currently serving as Senior Editor of News & Social Media at CBS Local Digital Media since May 2006, Carlos oversees daily operations and sets editorial direction for the CBS San Francisco website while establishing best practices for social media platforms. Prior roles include Managing Editor and TV News Producer at CBS/KPIX 5, as well as a Writer/Producer for FinanceVision at Yahoo!. Carlos holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcasting from San Francisco State University.
