Melissa Rad's work experience details various roles they have held in different companies and organizations. Melissa currently works at CBRE Investment Management as the Sustainability Lead for the Americas & APAC Client Care division. Prior to this, they worked as a Sustainability Writer in the Client Solutions department at CBRE Investment Management.

In 2018, Melissa joined StartingBloc as a Social Innovation Fellow, a fellowship program aimed at bringing together leaders committed to social justice.

Melissa also has experience as an Adjunct Professor in Sustainability and the Environment at Hussian College from 2019 to 2021.

Melissa had a long tenure at Radson Development LLC, starting as the Vice President of Business Development and Sustainability Specialist from 2010 to 2021.

Melissa has also served as a Judge and Mentor at the Biomimicry Institute from 2019 to 2020.

Before that, Melissa was the Director of Education at The Institute of Transformational Nutrition from 2016 to 2018.

Prior to that, they worked at Creative Resource Associates (CRA) as the Vice President of Strategy and Communications from 2013 to 2016.

Melissa also worked as a Leadership Development Program Facilitator at Fulcrum Adventures from 2012 to 2015.

In their earlier career, they served as a Business Development and Marketing Associate- Graduate Research at Life and Environment from 2011 to 2012.

Melissa Rad completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Babson College from 2006 to 2010. During this time, they focused on Global Business Management and Environmental Sustainability. After obtaining their bachelor's degree, Melissa went on to pursue a Master's degree in Environmental Studies at Tel Aviv University. Melissa completed their Master's program from 2010 to 2012.
