Tom Thrasher, PE, is an accomplished engineering professional currently serving as the Engineering Design Manager at CBRE since December 2024. Previously, Tom held multiple roles at WB Engineers+Consultants from May 2018 to December 2024, advancing from Project Engineer to Associate Director of Engineering. Prior experience includes serving as an Electrical Engineer at ads Engineers from June 2012 to April 2018 and an Electrical Engineering Intern at Lawrence Perry and Associates in 2011. Tom also demonstrated leadership as President of the IEEE - Virginia Tech Student Chapter from August 2011 to August 2012, managing events and guiding fellow officers. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2012.
