Robert Cargill is an accomplished professional in the fields of bioengineering and biomechanics, currently serving as President of CBE Consultants, Inc. since April 2020. Previously, Cargill was the Engineering Director for the Biomechanics Practice at JP Research, Inc. from April 2017 to March 2020. Cargill also owned and operated Cargill Bioengineering LLC from September 2009 to March 2017, providing specialized consulting services in biomedical and biomechanical fields. Earlier in career, Cargill held the position of Senior Managing Engineer at Exponent and served as an Assistant Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where involvement included teaching in mechanical engineering and bioengineering programs. Cargill's foundational research was conducted as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, examining the mechanical environment's impact on urinary bladder development. Cargill holds a PhD and MSE in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
