Michael Founds is an experienced ecohydrologist with ten years of expertise in ecological restoration and groundwater-surface water interaction. Currently at cbec eco engineering, inc, since February 2019, Michael manages projects that simplify complex data for effective communication to stakeholders regarding restoration design and risk management. Previously, Michael served as a scientific researcher at the Desert Research Institute, where projects focused on erosion and infiltration processes, and as a science associate at 2NDNATURE, collaborating with resource managers on stormwater requirements and restoration projects. Michael's early experience includes roles with the US Forest Service as a hydrologic technician and internships focused on watershed research. Academically, Michael holds a Master's degree in Hydrology from the University of Nevada, Reno, and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Earth Sciences from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
