Thais Gurgel has a wealth of experience in operations and customer experience. Thais began their career in 2006 as the Head of Operations & Product at Gina Campos Fashion. In 2012, they became a Product Manager Intern at Johnson & Johnson, where they developed a 5-year plan for the HIV division sales and distribution strategy. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at Pitzi, starting as employee #8 and growing the company to 100+ people, leading from 1 to 30+ Managers and Analysts in Operations and Customer Experience. Thais built OPS and CX processes, systems, and teams. From 2019 to 2022, they were the Director of Operations at Via, and is currently COO at Cayena.

Thais Gurgel completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts at GLOBE-SP | Centro de Formação do Ator from 2006 to 2009. Thais then went on to earn their Bachelor of Business Administration at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2002 to 2006. In 2009, they completed an Extension Course in Fashion Marketing at Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan. In 2011, they earned their MBA at London Business School. In 2012, they completed an International Exchange Programme at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, earning their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.).
