Richard Lauder began their work experience in 1999 as the CTO & Co-Founder of RBN Inc. Richard then worked as the CTO of USSS Pty Ltd from 2005 to 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they were the Principal at Glen Rosa Solutions, where they provided strategic consulting for start-up technology companies. In 2009, they worked as a Consultant at Bain & Company, focusing on private equity due diligence and strategy development. In 2010, they joined Telstra as the Principal - Telstra Ventures, responsible for investing in high-growth companies aligned with Telstra's objectives. In addition to their role at Telstra Ventures, they also served as the Principal Business Development Specialist at Telstra Business. In 2014, Lauder became a Non Executive Director at HealthEngine, the #1 service for Australians to find and book health appointments. Richard held this position until 2017. From 2015 to 2018, they served as a Non Executive Director at enepath, Gorilla Technology Group, and C88 Financial Technologies Pte Ltd. In 2018, they became the CFO of Caxe Technologies. Lauder's work experience demonstrates a diverse range of roles and responsibilities in technology-focused companies and investment ventures.
Richard Lauder completed their education with a BSc in Physics from the University of Southampton, where they studied from 1987 to 1990. Richard then pursued a PhD in Laser Physics with a specialization in Fibre Optics from the same university, completing their doctoral studies from 1991 to 1994. Later on, they pursued an Executive MBA from the AGSM @ UNSW Business School, where their studies took place from 2005 to 2008.
