Janis Tam, PhD, is a Senior Science Liaison at Causaly since January 2022, with previous experience as a Research Scientist at Better Dairy and as a Visiting Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Assistant at The Francis Crick Institute. Janis completed a PhD focusing on cell decision regulation in budding yeast and engaged in various research positions, including identifying gene expressions in Down syndrome at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and constructing fluorescent transcriptional vectors at The University of Hong Kong. Educational credentials include a PhD in Gene Regulation from The Francis Crick Institute and UCL, an MRes in Biosciences: Genetics from UCL, and a BSc in Biochemistry from Imperial College London. Additionally, Janis undertook a work placement at Science Gallery London and a laboratory placement at UCL Eastman Dental Institute.
